Milwaukee Bag International has a new name, Converting Technology Inc. |
San Rafael, CA.
-- Milwaukee Bag International has a new name, Converting Technology Inc., offering a wide variety of bags and packaging engineering services. Milwaukee Bag joined PAC Machinery Group as its newest member back in April 2005. The new name reflects more accurately the broad range of packaging supplies and services that CTI brings to the PAC Machinery Group. In addition to CTI, the PMG companies include Audion Automation, Packaging Aids Corp., and Vertrod.
Converting Technology Inc. (CTI), which is headquartered in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin, produces a wide range of bags including: Redipack™ pre-open bags-on-roll; wicketed bags; side seal; bottom seal; and header bags. Serge Berguig, president of PAC Machinery Group, says “the new name is important because it says more of what we do, we do bags but also much more.”
“The Redipack™ bags are marketed together with our Rollbag™ equipment from Audion Automation,” Mr. Berguig said. He added that the bag assortment will complement the wide range of machines PAC Machinery Group produces from vacuum gas sealers, tray sealers, heavy duty impulse sealers, shrink and skin equipment, form fill and seal machines, and Rollbag™ machines.
Mr. Berguig noted that many of the industries PAC Machinery Group serves such as food, medical, electronics, and hardware packaging often require different machines and present different packaging challenges. Now those businesses can come to one source, PAC Machinery Group, with the confidence that they’ll find complete packaging solutions that match their requirements.
PAC Machinery Group is headquartered in San Rafael, CA. It has manufacturing facilities in San Rafael, CA and Carrollton, TX. Machines are sold through regional sales managers and an extensive distributor network.
